Since I was a child I have always been interested in geometry, mathematics, physics, I love to make models and manual works. For the same reason, my great uncle told me to study something that would always exist and that would not be replaceable by machines in the future, and he was quite right, so I decided for the construction area, to create and design spaces.
My first choice was construction engineering, but after a lot of talking and searching for information, I opted for architecture at the UBB, which combined all these aspects. It attracted my attention because I would have the possibility to work independently and complement other skills with what they would teach me in the career, so I could plan a good life project doing what I do best and what I like to do the most.
However, after a while, I chose the Universidad de Chile because of the contacts I'll have in the future, for having studied in one of the most prestigious universities in the country and because I would find people with the same ambitions as me, so we could form a good team and work project.
My experience at the university has been quite linear, without much difference to what I had at school. All this is because of the online modality that takes away many of the experiences that we should have had last year as new members of the career, being "mechones".
Finally, the kind of job I would like to have is to be a real estate broker and do personal architecture projects.
Dear Adolfo.
ResponderEliminarWhat you say is true, this modality has taken away many experiences that we should have had in our first year, being new. We have not been able to do face-to-face work with our partnes, in spite of knowing them. For the same reason I feel sad, because the truth is I don't know when the situation in the country will improve and if we'll ever get to know the university.
I hope you achieve what you want in the future and be a great architect. xoxo
I think curious who your uncle says to look for a career that were irreplaceable by the machines, it's some that I don't had listened before like advice.

ResponderEliminarMaybe some day we can do personal projects together, I think we both have great projects in mind, we have been able to work as a group so far in the race, it would be very rewarding to be able to project ideas.
Hi Adolfo, its crazy about the irreprensible careers. In the end it's so real that even in college they teach us about the utopian future full of machines. I hope you're great.
